How to create a blog for free on blogger

Blogging is the best way to express your views, opinions, polls to other around the world. If you are a newbie and want to start your blogging career by creating a blog, then friend you have came to the right place.  Firstly decide whether you want to create a blog for your passion or for your business/ professional purpose. WordPress is the best blogging platform for a business blog as it provides you with a thousand of themes to customize your blog and thousands of WordPress plugins to run your blog smoothly.

 Now coming to next category, which is my favorite one creating a blog for passion. From my point of view if you are a newbie and want to start blogging for passion then you should prefer a free-hosted blogging platform like blogger. 

Blogger.com is the best free hosted blogging platform. It is a Google product and you know what it means, it is best in its class and it is mainly famous because of its ease of use. Blogger is totally free and helps you to create your blog for free. Thousands of bloggers are using blogspot.com as their blogging platform.

 As it is free, it does not mean that you cannot make money with it. It is the preferred platform for Google Adsense, the best online ad company. So you can earn decent amount of money if your traffic goes high.

Secondly decide the topic on which you want to write your blog. It is very important to sort out your category as you cannot write everything in a single blog. If you want to write about traveling then you should not think about writing on cooking or anything else, I think that you got my point.

Its 2017 and it’s not like previous years that for blogging you need to have knowledge of PHP, HTML, etc. It is very simple to create a blog with blogger, Oh yes WordPress is somewhat difficult but blogger is not at all.

Before starting, make sure that you have a Google account. I think most of us have a account previously, if not then you should create a Google account first before creating a blog.

Step 1: Go to blogger.com. Click on create your blog in the mid of the blogger.com page. 

Step 2: There are two ways to sign up for blogger account – Google + & limited blogger account.

I would prefer you to create  your blog using your  Google+ account  as by doing this you can directly share your blog post on Google + and there are several other advantages. (If you don’t have one create one for free)

Step 3: Confirm your profile by clicking on continue to blogger.

You have successfully created a blogger account, now click on create a new blog icon to create a blog.

Step 4: Give your desired blog title and search for your preferred blog address and check for its availability. If it’s not available then enter other addresses and check their availability.

Be sure to give a good blog title as it reflects your personality and contents. Don’t give childish domain name (blog address) as it does not look nice, be somewhat professional.

Step 5: Select your preferred theme and click on create a blog icon. You can change your blog theme at any time so don’t worry about the blog appearance while creating your blog.

Congratulations your blog is now created. Now you are ready to post your first post.

Step 6; Click on new post. Give a suitable post title and write your post.

Step 7: Click on publish.

You are all done now; your first post now has been published in your blog. You can visit your blog using your blog address or view blog option in the blogger.com dashboard.
